We had a fun ward Christmas party last week. The kids sang so sweetly and it is always fun being with the great people in our ward. Of course, Santa came and it was Dr. Destructo's first time sitting with him. He freaked just like I figured he would. It was cute, though. He is scared of all animals, real or stuffed, so somehow I knew Santa would be scary too. However, he was appeased with the little candy cane Santa gave him. He went from screaming, to crying and trying to keep up the scared look (when he saw the candy cane) to totally calm (as soon as he was holding the candy cane). The little stinker already knows what candy is and that he likes it. I was hoping to keep this kid a little healthier, but seeing as his other 4 little mothers weren't on board with that I just have to sigh and do the best I can.
