Random thoughts

Well, I think my weekend could be summed up with these words, "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times."
I may be able to chalk the whole thing up to hormones. My mood Saturday was, shall we say, dark. Just bummed about how messy and cluttered my house is, and my physical state of body at the moment (not in the best shape to say the least) was just getting me so DOWN. So most of the day Sat I was in a funk. DH and I went to test drive some motorcycles, which was not my idea. I had to be talked into it because I wanted to stay home and mope around the house instead of going out anywhere. But once we went, my mood lightened considerably. I think it was good for me to get out and there is something about going fast on a motorcycle that just makes me laugh. (not dangerously fast or anything) Kind of like on a roller coaster. I always laugh my head off on those things.
Anyway, then Saturday night Teeny Bopper and I went to the Young Women General Broadcast together. It was our first as she recently turned 12. THAT was emotional for me. I cried through the first half hour just thinking about how proud I am of her and what a great person she is. I just couldn't contain my emotions and they ran out of my eyes and down my cheeks. Then after the broadcast we went to dinner with the other YW leaders and girls from our ward. And boy did we have fun! Oh my gosh, those girls can be silly, emphasis on the word "silly". It was hilarious, great company. I laughed so much and it was a huge relief for me. I love laughing! So, the day ended on a wonderful note despite the cloudy beginning.
One of my main reasons for posting about this is to say "thank you" to my DH for putting up with me so kindly and so lovingly. He was so good to me and even organized a house cleaning event for Family Night tonite. He is the best and I want him to know it! I love ya babe!

It just goes to show that even if a motorcycle ride can't completely cure you, it can certainly put you on the road to recovery. :-) Love you wifcita!
