Laundry soap update

Just an FYI for anyone who saw my previous post on homemade laundry soap--I am just now making another batch. That means that last batch of soap lasted us 5 months! And that is my family of 7 plus keeping my pal Naunee stocked up as well. Pretty darn good deal, if you ask me!

Do you know if this soap will work with a front loader? Did you like the smell it put in your clothes, or was there no smell?

Yes, it works great in a front loader. It's pretty low sudsing. Search my blog for the recipe and it will give how much you use for both a front and top loader. It smells good alone, but doesn't leave really any smell on the clothes.

Sally, I wanted to call you so bad this morning (and late last night) when I was at walmart. I can't find fels naptha soap in the laundry aisle OR the soap aisle. I'm not sure if you've bought up all their stock (j/k!) or if I'm looking in the wrong place. Same with the washing soda. ugh. help a sista out and tell me what I'm doing wrong while I search!

p.s. It was fun to have you at my enrichment night and we're all so excited to try it out. (now if I could only find the ingredients!)

Sally, didn't we get the fels naptha soap at Food City? I know they also had the washing soda, but I thought we saw it at another store & can't remember.
Hey, I heard Big Lots bought a huge lot of evenflow baby stuff, I don't know if they'd have pack n plays, but maybe we should check it out.
