Some advice for eating well

I got these tips in an email today and want to remember them without keeping the whole email.

"Set yourself up with a breakfast that has lots of fiber, protein, and a little bit of good fat. The fiber will help the slow release of sugar into your bloodstream. The result of that is your body will feel fuller for longer. You won’t have any of these spikes and then low points of blood sugar that ends up creating the simple carbohydrate cravings we have throughout the day." - Daphne Oz

Some good examples are:

Greek Yogurt with berries + 1 or 2 hard boiled eggs
Sprouted Grain Toast with Almond Butter and Apple Butter
Egg scramble with added veggies + 1 apple

"Count to your age before you cheat. This gives you a quick couple of seconds to have a mental break and think, “Why am I eating this food? What is it going to do for me? Is it something that I actually want or am I just eating it out of convenience because it’s there?” - Daphne Oz
