Joining the bandwagon of homemade Christmas gift ideas, here are a few:
*Mixes in a jar-from cookie mixes to pastas to spice blends in a small jar or ziploc.
*Homemade stationary, gift tags, or card sets. You could include a pen decorated like a flower.
*For little girls, one of those things that you can clip barrettes onto so less of them end up lost. (at least that's the idea behind it...)
Or this is a cute one, and easier to make:
Or here's another one that sells for 50 bucks!! Can you believe that?!?
*Homemade body scrubs, bath fizzies, lip balms, bath salts, etc.
*an eye pillow with rice or flax seeds and dried lavender inside (flax doesn't smell when heated like rice), or an even bigger "pillow" thing like this to wrap around the neck or shoulders (you heat the pillow in the microwave or freeze it for a cold pack.
That's all I can think of for now, my brain and body are tired. Now if I could just get up the energy to make some of these cute things, I'd be so happy...

Super cute ideas! I love the pink striped bow holder!
Those are awesome ideas! I love the ladybug barrette holder! So, Salsa Mama, you should consider entering this post (or any other homemaking post) in my carnival. I have it every Monday. See you around!
I was just thinking of jar mixes for this Christmas! I'm giving jars of hubby's spagetti sauce, and I think I'll add a bread mix too! Thanks for the really cute barrette holders-those are do-able (and for less than 50 dollars:)
Cute ideas. I actually know someone who makes hair bow holders and yes, they are expensive, but if they are made with good, quality materials, they are worth it. I plan on making one for my youngest one of these days. She loves wearing hair bows and they are piled in a basket under the bathroom sink right now. lol
Thanks for entering, Lady! I also love the eye pad! I need one of those. You are entered into the contest. Thanks and good luck! Hope to see you mext week!
These are some good ideas. My huband and I made bath sugar scrubs (YES - he actually helped!) for Christmas a few years ago and everyone loved them!
Great ideas! I love receiving the jar mixes and the bow holders are just so cute!

Very nice gift ideas!
Oooohhh...I love that bow holder with the name painted on. I think I can do that. This girl doesn't pay $50 for anything she can make herself!
