My son and Fern Gully

So...we have a video by the name of Fern Gully. I have some minor issues with this movie, but no more than with several average "kid" shows. You know, is the villain too scary, is the plot a little too "green", yadda yadda. Well, my three year old son Dr. D LOVES this movie. I mean, bordering on obsession loves it. Well, turns out he loves it so much because of the main female character, Crysta. She is a cute little fairy with a nice figure and sweet personality. I thought that he, being only three, was drawn to her sweetness. Call me naive.
Here are some of his comments over the last couple weeks. We were making the kids Valentines cards, and Little Miss gave him a few of her cards. (they were Phineas and Ferb, his favorite) Anyhoo, I caught him looking lovingly at his card and he said, "I'm going to give this to Crysta and tell her, "You're pretty". Then she'll give one to me and say, "You're awesome."" O-kay.
Then a couple of days later he was playing with our Magic 8 Ball toy, which incidentally he calls the magic meatball. He came up to me and said, "The magic meatball says I love Crysta!" Mmm-hmm.
Well, today he brought me the magnadoodle and asked me to draw a picture of Crysta. I did my best (which is NOT very good, let me tell you) and he said, "Where's her boob? I like her moob. You need to draw it--just one moob." (he's a little confused between moobs and boobs, apparently. He doesn't quite realize that moobs are man-boobs and uses the terms interchangeably.) :)
Well, I am now convinced that it is more than her sweet personality that my little guy is attracted to and I also never realized how early these boyish interests began. Now that I know, I don't think we'll be watching Fern Gully for a while. Good thing it's already missing...

we haven't seen that one but...

When Justin was around 3 or 4 we were watching tv and a Ricky Martin concert special advertisement came on. It showed girls shaking their hips in a seductive dance with fringe on their very little skirts. We watched the whole thing and only about 3 seconds showed those girls dancing but as soon as it was over he looked at me and said, "dem girls are pretty." WOW.

I LOVE your header, Salsa Mama! And I have to know, did you come up with the photography yourself? So cute!

I'm thinking you did come up with the photography yourself because I'm pretty sure I recognize the gate and bricks. SO creative, I LOVE the header too! And, watch out for that boy will you! LOL...

Yep, I did do the photography myself. I've seen stuff like that all over and thought it should be easy enough to do. I got the itch to do LOVE and it took me about 5 minutes to go out and find the objects and snap photos. Thanks for the compliments! :)

I was watching the USA olympic mens curling team yesterday. Two of them had massive pecs. Now I know they are called moobs. Thanks, little man, for helping me know the correct lingo.
