I am convinced that Gingerbread House Making Kits are a genius invention. They make it so easy and convenient to put together awesome gingerbread creations. They come with the cookies, frosting, and all the decorations needed for a master creation. One of my best friend's mothers gave one to us a few years ago, and since then we have sought these out for the holidays. This year Teeny Bopper opted out so Sweet G got to do one of her own, and the younger girls shared one together.
They had fun and I loved watching them. Another beloved tradition has begun!

We actually did ours AFTER Christmas since they were half price. The kids had a ball, and they were constructed and torn apart all in the same night.
Note to self and others: Make SURE the kit has the premade icing and the tray "foundation". MUCH EASIER and FASTER! I see you did get the good kind. Smart lady! (I wasn't paying attention when I bought mine, grrr!)
Fun...very fun!
